In trying to juggle too many things in real life and having to keep up with too many projects online, I've come to the realization that I need to simplify and try to focus on my projects, the biggest being Helios' Forsaken. This means a number of things for the comic. On the plus side, this will hopefully mean the comic will start having regular updates again. On the downside, some of the extra projects around here are going to be put on the back burner.

A brief outline of the plans:

1. Get the old comics back online - Over the next two weeks, I am going to focus on getting ALL of the existing Sparta and Sheenja story lines back online. I had been hoping to have the remade versions of these done as I put them back online, but remaking the old episodes takes a lot of work that I simply don't have the time for right now. Also, I want to focus on the current storyline and move things forward. Once Persona finishes, I will probably try to go back and finish Sparta for good.

2. Site cleanup and move. For about a year now, I've been teetering with two hosting companies and working on transitioning to a new host. The last scraggler aside from a few smaller projects is Helios. So, over the next couple months, I'm going to be moving Helios' Forsaken to a new hosting plan with the aim of being completely transitioned by the time my domain runs out some time in Feb.

3. Persona Non Grata - Once I get my rendering computer fully setup which will hopefully happen this week (we moved and I have not had time to fully set up all my massive arrays of hard drives and other peripherals), then I am going to go forward full force with Persona Non Grata with the goal of finishing it in the next six months. This will be my primary focus until it is completely done. Once it is finished, then I am going to go back and finish Resurrecting Sparta.

4. Updates - I'm going to try to post here in the forums regularly as I get through things, just to keep people posted and to keep things going.

Just a brief update. Things have been moving, albeit slowly. I've got a couple renders done for the next Persona page and have the first handful of videos for Helios' Forsaken in 740p ready to plunk in the Flash files. I'm hoping to have something up by Wed., though I don't want to promise anything because life has been quite unpredictable lately.

Renders are all done for the next Persona page. If all goes well I should have an update rolled out on Wed. this week.

Last week's update went up on Wed. This week there will be some Sparta content going up.

And... this week we're going to get this puppy rolling again for real. I've got a buffer now and am going back to weekly updates. Keeping my fingers crossed that there will be no more real life crisises to derail me again....

Got 2 Persona pages in the queue and drawings done for the next Sparta redo. Getting back on track...
