Got a new theme installed and some widgets Now I just need to redo the graphic at the top and we’re good to go. Got links working and so on. Working on changing my domain name over. Once I get that done, then I can start porting over the other blogs…

Woohoo! I just managed to get my blog from one Web server to another. Damn they should make this easier to do, but I did it . Now to switch over  the domains so people see this one

And once again the blog gets ignored… Too many things to do to just sit down and blab. Gotta renew the domain and switch it over to GoDaddy as Yahoo has absurdly high domain prices now. Otherwise crappy weekend, but thats the way things go. Been chugging away a little on my novel and have the renders for Mondays Persona page done.

Watched Hitchcok’s Rear Window yesterday and liked it. It was kinda boring and more silly than scary, but it was an interesting vignette of a certain lifestyle and how glimpses into private lives can be revealing.

Well vacation’s over and back to work it is. Makes me wonder when vacations will be vacations again and not just tire me out. Anyhow, comic is updated and another update will come tonight if my render finishes. And my new years resolution if I made them would be to update my blog better, but I dont make new years resolutions so who knows.

So I think I’m going to try this whole NANOWRIMO thing this year. I doubt I’ll finish, but it’s worth a try. And I plan on totally improvising my writing so no outlines or anything. I’m just going to write and see what happens.

Every once in a while some spam just stands out for sheer stupidity or bad writing or absurdity. This was a spam comment that some spammer tried to put on this blog. I have not edited it at all except to remove any links and such and extraneous line breaks. I found this one interesting because it’s actually a story. A poorly written, depraved, kinda gross story, but still. And if you’re faint of heart or easily offended, don’t bother read. It’s quite explicit

Ah, the internet. My poor silly underloved blog is getting barraged with Spam. Thankfully I don’t let anyone comment around here without my approval, so I just go through and baleet it all. Annoying though. Im having to baleet all these bogus users.

So summer is almost coming to a close. Not sure whether I’m relieved or frustrated. It went wicked fat but it was a crappy summer. Rain and work and medical and car paroblems, bleah.

On the plus side, Im finally making progress on my comic. And Ive been able to get Vue to work. So hopefully this new format etc. will be more successful.

Been a while since my last post. Let’s see. Saw that Space Chimps movie. Wondering where I can get some of the stuff that the writers were smoking when they made that movie and how there can be such a discrepancy in quality of the CG between the monkeys and the rest of the movie.

Going to the X-Files tonight.

Saw Hellboy last night. It was a fun and very artsy movie, but not as cool as I expected it to be. They actually gave Abe a character in this one. By biggest complaint was that they spent too much time on the pretty-boy and yet he still didn’t have a character. Oh well, you can’t win them all.

I’ve decided that cars are satan’s creation. After $1000 of repairs on our car, it still took a couple tries to start yesterday thus eschewing our plans for a northerly day off. bleah. I’m just going to get a horse and give up on the whole car thing.

Also finally got my Forsaken Art home page up. It’s a very simple page that will kind of act as a portal to all the Web sites I have going. Right now it has ads on it, but I will be getting a hosting plan for it in the next couple weeks.
